John UpDIKE.

This might be a little awkward n wierd, but when I was in high school our senior english class was reading some book, don't remember which one, but it was by 'John Updike.' Knowing how stupid, and incredibley immature we were, my peeps and I were all like, 'what? DIKE?' You know and saying stupid little wise cracks everytime the teacher said his name. Back to the point, He died Tuesday at age 76 of lung cancer, and freakin won the pulitzer prize (for you dumb-asses who don't know what that is, it's the highest national honor for newspaper journalism, literary achievements and musical composition.) He wrote about 50 novels in his career, and started back in the 1950s. I love to write, and am currently officially being lazy and not working on the book I started. Someday, maybe I'll be as great as him. As for now, that was kinda gay in a way so say, and in some ways it wasn't bottom line is: Rest in Peace you great author, John UpDIKE, you.
